This project has been extraordinarily difficult to put together, but incredibly rewarding. I’ve included a rough timeline to give you a sense of where it’s at, and what’s next.

Milestones + Rough Timeline:

~~Write script for Pilot.~~

~~Raise $250,000 to film ‘Proof of Concept’ for TV Series. Mostly out of our own pockets.~~

~~Hire team, find actors (including Jim O’Heir of Parks and Recreation fame), start pre-production.~~

~~Test shoots — aim to film in April ‘22.~~

~~When that falls apart, breakup with a business partner, have a mental breakdown, and aim to film by Fall ‘22.~~

~~Get your mental health back together.~~

~~Film on-location in Los Angeles, CA over 5 days in November ‘22.~~

~~Edit V1.~~

~~Edit V1 doesn’t work, start edit V2.~~

Run out of money — raise more ($25k of $50k raised).

Finish edit.

Submit to festival.

Have conversations with distributors.

Raise $5-$10 million for S1 of the show.

In spite of how painfully difficult this project has been at times, it’s also been an absolute blast to be a part of and to have a hand in helping bring to light. It’s been so, so validating for me as a filmmaker that with a ton of amazing people, we can make stuff like this.

Shout out to the incredible team that we had behind this — so, so many people poured their blood, sweat and tears into this thing, and we’re excited to finally release it in 2024.
